Art and people are my beacons.  I have sought to learn more about both, and the relationships between them through my studies and professional pursuits. I delved into art history and the humanities along with my fine art studies at the University of Michigan, then studied traditional methods and techniques of depicting the figure, including indirect painting, artistic anatomy and sculpture in graduate school at The New York Academy of Art. I received certification as an art teacher from Bank Street College and have since enjoyed sharing my passion with a wide range of populations while continuing to explore how art enhances perception and helps decode information. I am now excited to be embarking on new training and work in the field of mental health, learning more about the function of memory, and individual sensibilities.

I have exhibited in many group and juried shows in New York City and Massachusetts.  My work hangs in several private collections along the East Coast.
